Dollar Nail Art

I mentioned yesterday that I had ordered from Dollar Nail Art.   I found the link on this blog.

My order arrived today.  I got:

10 colors of Transfer Foil (5ft X 1 inch) – violet, silver dots, rainbow swirl, plum AB, Peach Burst, Opal Glitter, Magenta AB, Brushstroke, Aqua AB, and Gold dots.  They came in little vials (will have to check if they can be covered with clay) and should work much like Jones Tones foils.  The foils were $1 each.

Set of 12 assorted glitters – pink rose, fuchsia, red, green apple, emerald, gold, lime, lavender, royal blue, silver, aqua, stratos blue.  They’re microfine glitters.  They’re also in the neat little vials.  The set cost $10.20 – less than $1 each since i got them as a set.

100 piece tape stripes in assorted colors.  Think pinstriping.  Not sure how they’ll work but for $1, I can play around and test it out.

Set of 5 colors diamonds – lavender pearl, silver AB, metallic red, pink pearl, gold AB.  They’re like diamond shaped glitter.  I’ve used star glitter which is a little thicker than these so these should work fine.  $4.25 for the set.

Plus a free bottle of nail adhesive – maybe I can find a use for it.

That blog says that some colors of the foil fade when baked so I’ll have to test and experiment with them and take some notes.  I love finding new, affordable sources for goodies and such neat goodies at that.

I did manage to find Zelda for my Wii yesterday.  I played this morning so to be a good girl I’ll take the afternoon off from playing that and finish the projects I restarted yesterday and maybe test the foils.
